We have a bunch of Happy Kids at My Savior Lives Orphanage, 17 plus Kay Kay, the baby of directors Douglas and Damaris.

Douglas Makori went shopping for food today, Feb 16, 2017. He hired a motorbike to take food to Ritare Village and MSLO orphanage. This is one week’s budget. We really need to buy a 70 kg bag of corn mash for the chickens, which costs about $35 usd. It isn’t part of the budget. Of four chickens, we get now three eggs a day. When the chickens were allowed to forage for food, egg laying fell off. I can see the chickens are out foraging again, meaning the rice we cook and give them is not enough. Regardless, it is nice to have eggs. Maybe we should just buy eggs? Sorry, no photo today. Douglas had to charge the phone when he arrived to purchase. Just one picture Douglas, please……
